This paper gathers all verse and rhythmical inscriptions from Sarmizegetusa. Focusing on a historical analysis, the aim of this study is to identify the profiles of people involved in the dedications, explore all the communicative settings, and finally, to outline the specific poetic fingerprints of the first colonia of the province Dacia.
