Europäische Identität: Hat sie eine Zukunft?
Abstract
The geopolitical situation in fall 2025 raises concerns about Europe's future. Never before has Europe been so isolated. It cannot be excluded that Europe will soon have to be defended by military means. How can this be achieved without a “European identity”? Based on the EU motto “United in Diversity,” this article examines the current state of European identity and clarifies what has been achieved so far. The fundamentals for a future European identity appear to be solid.
